UNIT-1

IIAST Unit-1 spans 0.49 hectares, housing a vibrant mix of agricultural wonders. From a nutritional garden brimming with seasonal vegetables to a serene herbal sanctuary, the farm offers a diverse array of flora, including exotic fruits like Dragon Fruit. State-of-the-art facilities, such as nurseries and a Drip irrigation system, bolster research endeavors, while providing students with hands-on learning opportunities in plant propagation and growth.

UNIT-2

With a land area spanning 0.39 hectares, IIAST UNIT 2 stands as the hands-on training hub for aspiring agriculture students. Its purpose extends beyond mere acreage; it serves as the primary arena for practical training in crop production, research, and plant protection. Here, students immerse themselves in the cultivation of fruits, vegetables, and field crops, gaining invaluable experience in real-world agricultural practices.

UNIT-3

Spanning 1.93 hectares, IIAST UNIT 3 is a dynamic hub for hands-on agricultural research. Tailored for undergraduate practical, it offers immersive experiences in crop production, including vegetable cultivation, floriculture, and spice farming. The farm's diverse array of specimens and practical activities, such as Practical Crop Production (PCP), provide students with a comprehensive understanding of agricultural practices, blending scientific knowledge with experiential learning.

UNIT-4

Spanning 0.41 hectares, IIAST UNIT 4 is dedicated to Experiential Learning Programs (ELP) and crop production, emphasizing organic farming methods. Undergraduate students gain hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, focusing on natural farming preparations and crop production. A field classroom on-site facilitates practical sessions, enhancing the learning journey.

UNIT-5

Covering 0.96 hectares, this farm is devoted to practical crop production, undergraduate practicals, and mushroom cultivation. With a field classroom for hands-on learning, it offers students practical experiences across various courses. The mushroom unit, dedicated to ELP, focuses on producing Button and Oyster Mushrooms, showcasing innovative agricultural practices.

UNIT-6

Spanning 1.14 hectares, IIAST UNIT 6 is a dynamic center for agricultural education and innovation. It features a crop cafeteria, Automatic Weather Station (AWS), Vermicomposting, NADEP, Azolla units, and Experiential Learning Programs (ELP). The crop cafeteria showcases diverse crop varieties and techniques, while the AWS monitors atmospheric conditions for precision farming. Vermicomposting, NADEP, and Azolla units boost organic agricultural production, reflecting the farm's commitment to sustainability and innovation.

UNIT-7

Expanding over 10.06 hectares, the Integral Krishi Vikas Kendra (IKVK), formerly Kursi Bagh, is a mango orchard boasting more than 850 mango trees. Notably, it pioneers the Integrated Farming System (IFS) one-acre model, optimizing resource usage by combining diverse agriculture and livestock production. With a field classroom for undergraduate practicals, IKVK serves as a dynamic hub for agricultural innovation and education

UNIT-8

Spanning 1.38 hectares, this farm unit is centered around efficient processing and handling of agricultural produce. Its key facilities include a threshing floor and processing center, pivotal for transforming raw materials into market-ready products.

UNIT-9

Covering 0.33 hectares, this farm is entirely devoted to practical crop production and innovative solar grid irrigation. Emphasizing sustainability and efficiency, the farm utilizes solar energy to power its irrigation systems, minimizing environmental impact while maximizing productivity. By focusing exclusively on crop production and integrating renewable energy solutions, this farm exemplifies a modern approach to agriculture that prioritizes both productivity and environmental stewardship.
